i love that birdy grey made the swatch process so easy. i love their dresses by you never know how picture quality will end up in real life. now i know exactly which color i'll be having my bridesmaids in!

As expected
the color leans bluer, and this is more lavender than lilac (pinky). the swatch was nice, and it even came with a second layer of lining so i could tell about how thick and drapey the fabric would be. it's not a smooth and tight weave like a satin ribbon, it's more textured. having a swatch irl was very helpful

i loved being able to tell my maid of honor what fabric to choose for her dress. i also liked that the satin looks expensive rather than cheap!
