Yes, you may cancel your order up to one hour after it is placed via the order confirmation page or in your order history.

Please visit our Customer Care form (linked here) to reach out to us for further assistance with your return or exchange for an eGift Card. We are happy to take a look at your order and offer our assistance.

Please note: We cannot accept returns on personalized items.

For all U.S. returns for a refund, a $10 restocking fee is applied, per dress (for items returned in person, at a Happy Returns location). A $13 restocking fee is charged for items returned by mail, and a $7 restocking fee is charged for all non-dress returns. Shipping fees are non-refundable. All restocking fees will be deducted from your final refund.

For all Canadian returns for a refund, a $15 restocking fee is applied per item. Shipping fees are non-refundable. All restocking fees will be deducted from your final refund.

We charge a restocking fee as we do not process returns the same way a company that charges more for their dresses might. 

For US customers, the $10 restocking fee for dresses returned, in person, to Happy Returns ($13 for items returned by mail and $7 for all non-dress returns) applies to all returns per item. To avoid the fee, request an exchange via an eGift Card.

For Canadian customers, the $15 restocking fee applies to all items returned for a refund. Additionally, all Canadian exchanges are subject to a single flat-rate $14 fee upon checkout of the new order.

Your refund should appear on your account within 3-10 business days after it is processed, depending on your financial institution.

Yes, as long as your return or exchange was set up for multiple items within one order and one return label was provided for all your items! However, if more than one label was provided, please ship the items back separately with the appropriate label provided for each item, in order to ensure your refund or gift card exchange is processed correctly.

As a small (yet growing) company, we do not have the capacity to process international* returns at this time. We appreciate your understanding!

To start a return or exchange, please visit our Returns Center. All you need is your Order ID number and your Zip Code to get started.

U.S. customers have two drop-off options. You can either return in person at a Happy Returns bar or by mail. Click here to see Happy Returns locations near you.

Returns from Canada are processed by mail.

Please note: We cannot accept returns on personalized items.

Not usually. Only eGifts Cards created as part of an exchange may be disabled, so the original form of payment can be refunded. Please note: This kind of refund can only be processed within 90 days of the original purchase date.

If you received your eGift Card in an exchange, you have 90 days from the date your first order was placed to receive a refund on your original form of payment.

Any order returned for a refund, that was purchased using an eGift Card, will be refunded back to the eGift Card used to make the purchase.

Birdy Grey is a drama-free zone. For our US and Canadian customers, If the dress doesn't fit, the color's not right, or you just don't like it, you can return or exchange it within 30 days of delivery.

Our return and exchange window begins once the product begins tracking.

If your item is on preorder, you will have 30 days from delivery to initiate a return or exchange.

If you ship back the incorrect item, please use our Customer Care form here to let us know as soon as you can. Please include your order number, and we’ll do our best to locate the package for you once it arrives at our warehouse. Please note, we cannot be held responsible for items purchased from another brand sent in error.

Amazon Pay and Apple Pay encrypt your card number to help protect you from fraudulent charges. We can't see your actual credit card number, so the refund reflects that encrypted card number. Rest assured, the refund will go back to your original form of payment within 3-10 business days (depending on the institution).

Some of our non-dress products are available as preorder. Preorder items are products that are still making their way to us. For example, when you preorder a PJ set, it guarantees that you will receive one from that batch, and that it will ship to you as soon as it is processed through our warehouse. Expected delivery dates for preorder items are listed on each product page.

There are times when a courier will mark your package as delivered when, in fact, the package is still in transit. Please contact our Customer Care team here, and we’ll assist you in locating the package.

Once your order has shipped from our warehouse, we are unable to update your delivery address.

If you ordered UPS Priority Shipping, we recommend creating an account with the shipping carrier, and requesting that they update your shipping address! For privacy reasons, this isn't something we can do once the order is marked as shipped.

International shipping rates are flat-rate ($70 for dresses and accessories, $25 for swatches) and include all duties & taxes, with the exception of duties collected by countries in the European Union. In-stock merchandise shipped to the U.S. (via standard shipping) arrives within 5-10 business days.

Expedited delivery upgrades are also available at checkout. Please allow 3-5 extra business days for all personalized or monogrammed items. Please see our Shipping Policy page here for more details on shipping to Canada and other international destinations.

Please triple-check your shipping address before you check out, as it is often impossible for us to change it after the fact. If you do notice that you've ordered an item to the incorrect address, please contact our Customer Care team here, and we'll do our best to correct the issue.

We can’t wait for you to receive your order either! As soon as your order ships, we’ll send you a shipping confirmation with your tracking number. Sometimes, it can take up to 48 hours for your tracking number to update.

Some carriers may experience delivery delays, or may occasionally fail to scan packages until they’re out for delivery, but rest assured, your order is still on its way to you. However, if more than 10 business days have passed, and there is no movement in your tracking, let us know and we’d be happy to look into it!

We try our absolute best to accurately estimate our shipping windows, but there are rare occasions when things unexpectedly change. If that happens, our Customer Experience team will reach out with a new shipping time-frame and additional information.

If the new shipping date doesn't work for your wedding timeline, we can help you swap out the dress for an in-stock style!

Since some pre-orders are still making their way from the manufacturer to our warehouse, we're unable to accurately determine an exact ship date. We won't bore you with the logistical details, but there are various sticking points where things can get a little delayed. For example, during the holidays, port congestion can cause extended delays. By providing a broader shipping window, it allows us room for any of those unexpected delays while still meeting your expectations. We will always reach out to customers whose orders are affected by unforeseen delays and help resolve the issue in a timely manner!

Potentially, but it's not guaranteed! Because pre-ordered dresses are still making their way to our warehouse, we cannot 100 percent guarantee their arrival date.

We want you to have the dress you love the most, but we don't want to add any additional stress to the wedding. If you want to cross your fingers and wait for your pre-ordered dress, we recommend purchasing an in-stock option as well to have as a backup in case it doesn't arrive on time.

Gowns that are in-stock and ready to ship are designed in Los Angeles, manufactured in East Asia, and shipped domestically from our distribution center in Southern California. Made to order gowns ship directly from our manufacturers in East Asia.

Made-to-order dresses are just that — made when you order them! In order to cut down on waste and bring you the biggest variety in styles, we manufacture each made-to-order dress as a customer orders it. The process takes about ten weeks, from the moment you check out to the day your dress arrives at your door. Please note that made-to-order does not mean custom sizing.

Our made-to-order dresses deliver in approximately ten weeks from the order date. You'll receive updates on your dress's journey throughout, including during production. You can also follow along on the tracking page, which you can access from your order history or confirmation email.

We recommend ordering bridesmaid dresses 4 or more months before the wedding date, to leave plenty of time for shipping and alterations. Please keep in mind that our made-to-order dresses take up to 10 weeks to be produced and delivered. If your wedding is less than three months away, shop from our ready-to-ship collection, which ships in 5-10 business days. 

The best way to update your shipping address is to cancel your order within the first hour, and re-place the order with the updated address. If more than an hour has elapsed, we cannot guarantee that your order can be cancelled.

Klarna is a service that gives you more time to pay. With Klarna, you can build a payment plan and schedule your automatic payments with ease.

During checkout, you can either pay us directly or choose one of three easy Klarna payment schedules:

Pay in 30 (interest free!): With this plan, your payment — up to $400 value —  is due 30 days after the purchase date.

Pay in 4 (interest free!): Make four automatic biweekly payments. Orders between $35 and $1,000 are eligible for this plan.

Monthly financing (with interest, order minimums apply): 

Orders valued $149 - $999 are eligible to pay in 6 monthly installments.

Orders valued  $299 - $1,999 are eligible to pay in 12 monthly installments.

Orders valued $999 - $3,499 are eligible to pay in 18 monthly installments.

Orders valued $1,999 - $10,000 are eligible to pay in 24 monthly installments.

Klarna accepts all major credit and debit cards as well as Apple Pay. Please refer to their payment FAQs for the most up-to-date information. 

Not at all! Your order will be processed exactly the same way on our end, whether you pay in full at checkout or use Klarna to spread your payment out a bit.

Nope. If your transaction is approved by Klarna, it is not reported to credit agencies.

Yes! If you request a refund on an order you placed through Klarna, we refund the entire order amount to Klarna, and they refund your amount paid back to the card you used to set up your payment plan. At that point, any outstanding balance of your payment plan will be canceled.

For exchanges, your payment plan should continue as planned. If there are any changes to your scheduled payments, Klarna will contact you.

We do not offer group discounts at this time.

We are a direct-to-consumer brand, so our collection is available exclusively online at birdygrey.com. However, we may be coming to your city for a pop-up shop in the future, so be sure to follow us on Instagram @birdygrey for updates.

While we do our best to keep our stock info up-to-date, our inventory levels change on a daily basis. On rare occasions, an item may be in stock when an order is initiated but unavailable at the time of processing. If this has happened to you, please click here to send us a note for further assistance.

We are unable to make changes to your order after it's placed. However, you can reach out to our Customer Experience team here, and, depending on how far along your order is in the fulfillment process, we can request to cancel. Then you can place a new one with all of your items.

No, we do not provide alteration services at this time.

Never! Our Curve sizes are priced exactly the same way as our straight-sized dresses.

Our dresses are available in size XS-3X. (Seriously, it's as easy as picking your t-shirt size!) We provide size charts and measurement notes on our product pages, so read those carefully to determine if a dress will fit.

Our dresses are long! But the specific length depends on the style and size. Most of our floor-length dresses measure between 60 and 63 inches long. Please refer to the size chart on each dress page for more specific details.

We do not offer extra fabric or custom dress lengths at this time.

We have loads of options for bustier bridesmaids! Our designers recommend our Laurie, Jessie, Hannah, Gwennie, Jane, Jules, or Maria gowns, to name a few.

The Jane and Jules dresses both have built-in cups, and Christina has a sturdy bodice and convertible straps to help create a neckline that is both comfortable and flattering.

If you're hoping to wear a bra with your dress, our Laurie, Jessie, Hannah, Ryan, and Maria dresses offer ample coverage to mask bra straps.

Currently, we are unable to offer custom sizes. Only the styles and sizes shown on our website are available at this time. As we continue to grow as a company, our goal is to offer a broader range of sizes, so stay tuned!

Expecting moms make beautiful bridesmaids. Depending on how far along you or your bridesmaid will be at the time of the wedding, we typically recommend ordering one size up per trimester from your current measurements. At this time, we are unable to make changes to SuitShop orders after the order is placed.

Nope. If you placed an order that has both SuitShop and Birdy Grey items, your SuitShop items will ship separately. We'll send you one confirmation email for all of your items. Then, you should receive two separate emails (with two different tracking numbers) for your respective packages, as they ship.
