We’re looking for someone to pitch the perfect match: two friends, acquaintances, or co-workers who are clearly meant to be. Tell us why they’re a great fit, where you’d send them on their first date, and how you’d use the prize money to create an unforgettable experience. The most creative and compelling matchmaker will win $1,000 to bring their vision to life—and we’ll follow along to see if sparks fly.

We’re on the hunt for a creative, heartfelt matchmaker—someone who sees a spark between two people and has a vision for their perfect first date. Whether it’s your best friend and her co-worker, your roommate and your cousin, or any two people you believe are destined to hit it off, we want to hear about them.

As part of your entry, tell us who you’d set up and why you think they’re a great match. Then, get specific: where would their first date be? What would they do? How would you use the $1,000 prize to make it special? Whether it’s a cozy dinner, a quirky activity, or a sweeping romantic gesture, we want to see your matchmaking magic in action.

Requirements:

• Submit the names and relationship of the two people you'd match (e.g., college friends, co-workers, etc.)

• Describe why you think they’d make a great couple

• Outline a first date plan, including how you'd use the $1,000 prize to bring it to life

• Be creative, genuine, and thoughtful in your submission

• You must be 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply

• Disregarding any of these requirements is grounds for immediate disqualification

One lucky matchmaker will be selected to win a $1,000 cash prize to plan and fund the ultimate first date for their chosen couple. Whether you spend it on a dreamy dinner, tickets to a concert, or a creative surprise, the choice is yours—we just want to see your love story come to life.

The winner will be announced on October 3, 2025, so mark your calendar and get your application in before the deadline.

The rules of the competition and the prize for the winner are as follows:

1. The promoter of this competition is Birdy Grey, whose principal office is located at 210 E Olympic Blvd #300B Los Angeles, CA 90015.

2. Employees of Birdy Grey, their family members, or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set it up are not permitted to enter.

3. Participants must be at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority under the laws of their state of residence.

4. Only residents of the United States are eligible to participate.

5. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

6. There is NO ENTRY FEE AND NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to enter this competition. Any purchase or consideration will not improve one’s chances of winning.

8. Entrants must provide their name and contact information so that Birdy Grey can notify the winner.

9. The closing date for entry is October 3, 2025. No entries will be accepted after this date.

10. Only one winner will be selected from all eligible entries, at the discretion of Birdy Grey.

11. The winner will be notified by email and/or letter within 15 business days of the closing date.

12. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 2 days of notification, Birdy Grey reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select a replacement.

13. Birdy Grey will attempt to contact up to 3 potential winners. If none can be reached, the contest may be terminated.

14. The winner will be informed when and where the prize can be collected.

15. The winner agrees to the use of their name, image, and story in any publicity material.

16. Personal data will be used solely in accordance with federal and state data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to third parties without prior consent.

17. Birdy Grey’s decision on all matters related to the competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
